It All Began in 1944
After the end of the Second World War, the Vukojičić family began producing rakija from plums grown on their own estate. Using Crvena Ranka and Požegača plums, a family recipe and traditional double distillation, they created a rakija that soon found its way to customers throughout the former Yugoslavia.
From the Heart of Levač
We continued the family tradition in Rekovac, the heart of Levač and a region renowned for centuries for its orchards and vineyards. From the gentle slopes of the Gledić Mountains, we select fruit that becomes rakija with a distinctive origin, flavour and character.
Today, we combine the knowledge of previous generations with modern technology and careful control of every stage of production.
Two Names. One Tradition..
Toja was the family nickname of the man who began this story in 1944. Today, his name is carried by a range of rakijas dedicated to our family roots and the knowledge passed down through generations.
Draža was created as an expression of respect for General Dragoljub Draža Mihailović and the values his name represents to the Vukojičić family.
The two labels share the same rakija, the same origin and the same commitment to quality.
